What you'll need:
Paint ($.0.69 at Michaels for each color)
Birdseed (we got an extra large bag at Home Depot for $4.00)
Wood Birdhouse (I got mine from Michaels for $1.50)
Paintbrushes (I chose small ones for the kids)
Extra String (optional for hanging lower)
Flowers for Decoration (optional. we thought having a flower on the birdhouses would attract the birds)
Cover your table (so as not to get paint on it). Get a color pallet ready for your kids and water cups for rinsing paintbrushes.
Step 2:
Have your children paint the birdhouses and let dry.
Step 3:
Glue on flowers (optional). We added the flowers hoping it would attract the birds.
Step 4:
Fill the birdhouses with birdseed and hang!
Such a great craft idea!
