Crock-Pot Cranberry Apple Pork Chops

Another festive fall recipe! This is a very easy yet scrumptious holiday Crock-pot recipe. I like to serve it with mashed sweet potatoes and spinach salad.

Ingredients:

Pork Chops
Bag of Cranberries (12 ounces)
4 Small Granny Smith Apples
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Large Yellow Onion
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Step 1: *Optional*- Butter the bottom of the crock-pot to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Cut up the onion and cover the bottom of the crock-pot. Make an even layer with the onions.

Step 3:  Place the pork chops over the layer of onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Pour a half cup of balsamic vinegar over the pork chops.

Step 5: Wash the cranberries and pour them over the pork chops. Set the crock-pot to low and cook for 2-3 hours (depending on how thick the pork chops are).

Step 6: After several hours, chop the apples into slices and add to the crock-pot. Continue to cook on low for 1 more hour.

Step 7: Mix ingredients. Cut the pork chops, serve and enjoy!
