Roasted Lemon Pepper Green Beans



In my personal opinion, baked/roasted vegetables are so much better than steamed ones. These green beans have a slight crunch to them and are very tasty. 

Ingredients:

Green Beans 
Olive Oil
Slice of Lemon
Freshly Ground Pepper
Salt to taste (you only need a little)


Directions: 

Step 1:  Set the oven to 350-400 degrees. Rinse your green beans and place them on a cookie sheet. 




Step 2: In a small bowl mix olive oil, freshly ground pepper and salt. Use a basting or pastry brush to cover the green beans in the olive oil mixture.

Step 3: Squeeze the lemon wedge over the green beans and put in the oven. Time varies. I usually cook them for about 20-25 min.  Enjoy!
