We needed a new mailbox and Brendan and Scarlett thought it would be fun to copy the hand print idea from the movie Up. So we went to Home Depot and bought a plain large white mailbox (it was one of the one of the least expensive ones), then we each got to pick out a sample paint for our hand print. The kids enjoyed picking their colors and covering their hands in paint. And now they love showing off the mailbox that they helped to create whenever we have company.
