Creative Book Birthday

For my daughter Scarlett's 6th birthday, she wanted to recreate a scene from her favorite book.

King Bidgood's in the Bathtub was her favorite book during this time. My husband and I have probably read this book to her at least 100 times.

Her favorite part was when the King lunched in the tub and she thought it would be "super cool" to eat a feast in the tub.

Being the crazy "why not" kind of mom that I am, I totally went for it! I love my daughter's imagination and ideas. This was a fun project to put together, and as a parent, it's always an amazing experience to be a part of making your child's dream come true.

Fashion Show Shopping

Make school shopping fun and do a fashion show! My daughter is quite the little performer and loves dressing up.

Each time she changed outfits, she switched to a new character.

I took photos like a fashion photographer and Scarlett loved looking at the photos after each pose.

This was a great way to get clothes shopping done while having fun!

Mommy and Scarlett Time

Scarlett is at the age where we can collaborate on coming up with fun things to do when we get to spend time just the two of us. I love spending time with my daughter. She has such a big personality and is a joy to be around.

On our most recent mommy daughter date we decided to stay in and paint our nails, make henna designs, eat ice cream, and watch a movie.
