Helping Around the House

Let your children assist you with chores around the house. It may seem like a small gesture, but it builds their self-esteem and confidence. 

My son Troy loves helping me around the house and actually gets excited when I ask. Of course getting chores done will take a little longer, but the sense of accomplishment they feel is completely worth it!
