St. Patrick's Day Craft

This is a fun and easy craft to do with your kiddos for St. Patrick's Day.

What you'll need:

  • 1 Pencil (for tracing)
  • Assorted Construction Paper
  • Tape
  • Scissors (kid friendly)
  • Chocolate Gold Coins
 Step 1
Cut strips of the construction paper (all colors of the rainbow). Trace a pot of gold (black) and and a large cloud (white) and cut them out.

*My 3 year old can't quite cut out tracings yet, so I cut everything out while he practiced with his kid safe scissors.

 Step 2

Have your child choose a background color and tape the pot of gold to the bottom left hand corner of the page.

Step 3

Tuck all the strips of the rainbow paper into the pot and tape it down so you can't see the tape.

Step 4

Tape the top of the strips to the right side of the pot by folding them forward and to the side. We taped them two at a time.

Step 5

Tape the cloud and place it over the end of the rainbow.

Step 6

Lastly, tape the gold coins onto the pot.
